The California Amateur Skateboard League, now in its 22nd year, is organized and staffed by the United Skateboard Federation, Inc. There is a southern and northern C.A.S.L. Street Series. This year both of these Street point series will conclude in November with a northern "AWARDS DAY" and a southern 'AWARDS DAY" day for members, sponsors, friends and families. The top ranking skaters from each series will advance to the California State Street Championship, December 5th & 6th 2008 at CAMP WOODWARD WEST.

The C.A.S.L. Vert, Ramp and Bowl Series will be held in 2008.  These additional C.A.S.L. Series will each have 3 to 8 qualifying contests with their respective State Championships being held on July 11, 12, & 13 2008 at the California State Games in San Diego, CA.

Also in 2008, C.A.S.L. will have a PARENT/CHILD CONTEST for BOWL and STREET in July at the California State Games.  Qualifying for the Parent/Child will be in at various C.A.S.L. events January through June.

Throughout the year, U.S.F. staff and volunteers work with young skateboarders, their families and various communities to promote the sport of skateboarding as both a recreational and serious athletic endeavor with emphasis focused on communities providing skaters with "Safe" skateboarding environments.
